The ones I'm wearing are 5 years old & have been restitched
twice. The wool is in perfect shape & I could have them
stitched again but I'm going to replace them. They are warm
on cold hardwood floors. I have 2 pairs -- one for wearing
with thin wool socks and a size up for extra thick socks. If
your feet are always cold, you will love these slippers too!

I bought these slippers for my husband, who has painful bone
spurs and is headed for surgery next month. He's thrilled
with them and so now I can add my endorsement to all the
others I read before buying the slippers. I like the fact
that they allow the feet to breathe, have a sturdy arch
support to prevent back and leg fatigue, and conform to the
shape of the foot. They seem as though they'll last quite a
while; I just hope I remember where I bought them for next

I LOVE these slippers, and have been wearing them for years.
Because they are European, you need to know your European
shoe size to get the right fit, and they'll feel narrow at
first, but since they are all wool they will stretch. And
then you can throw them in the washing machine if they get
too floppy. They keep my feet warm and cozy, and again,
because they are wool, never too warm. What a lovely thing
to slide your feet into when you get home!

This is my third pair of slippers and although I preferred
the light lavender color (which was not offered), I love
these slippers enough to settle with the darker purple. They
last for easily 10 years (if you don't wear them outside to
walk the dog) and they're the most comfortable slippers I've
ever met. They really keep those toes toasty in the winter.
(I live in New Orleans and just can't bear to wear them in
the summer, or any closed-toe shoes for that matter).
